Niton handheld X-Ray Fluorescence Analysers can easily perform rapid, reliable and accurate ore sample analysis for mining operations, which is especially useful in remote locations. The real-time results are used to inform geochemical decisions, such as grade control, allowing mining operators to identify elements quickly and act swiftly, therefore increasing efficiency and productivity.
BENEFITS
• Quickly identify potential drill targets
• Screen drill cores and cuttings for rapid decision making on site and in real time
• Increased sample density and high sample throughput
• Cost-effective solution for mining operations, mineral discovery, as well as oil and gas exploration
How it works: the Niton X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer is a non-destructive analytical tool that uses x-rays to identify the composition of samples. Each element produces a unique set of fluorescent x-rays when excited by a primary x-ray source. The Niton XRF Spectrometer produces x-rays in order to trigger the elements in a sample to produce secondary x-rays, which the handheld device then analyses for qualitative and quantitative data.
